Description

Join a leading Lidar-research team. Help with new-systems engineering in a university-research environment. Participate in sharing technology-transfer benefits with industry. Develop cool stuff relating to advancing real-time virtual reality. Experience numerous professional growth opportunities for management and/or technical leadership. Develop and test designs for foliage-penetrating Lidar systems. Develop and employ simulation systems for evaluating Lidar-system performance. Work with senior leaders in developing new Lidar concepts. Develop and employ computer-based analysis systems for Lidar data evaluation and enhancement.


Requirements

Required: MS or higher in electrical engineering, physics, earth sciences, civil engineering, or related technical field. 0-3 years relevant experience. Good interpersonal skills. Good speaking and technical writing skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Desired: Experience with Lidar-systems hardware and processing software. Background in developing novel hardware and/or software for Lidar systems. Ability to publish technical work in highly regarded technical journals or other technical forums.
